wordpress vs blogger

When figuring out how to make a passive income blogging a reachable goal, you will be faced with the choice between Wordpress.com or Blogger.com.

But when it comes to having a blog, are you into making or spending money?

  • If you go with Wordpress.com, the free version, they do not allow you to advertise your or to put any plugins for that purpose. No Adsense allowed either. Plus if there are going to be any ads on your blog, Wordpress will make money, not you.
  • If you are going to go with Google's free Blogspot Blogger, you can easily monetize your passion with an Amazon affiliate programs (free), or Adsense ads (also free) and you get to keep all revenues from clicks.
Unlike many blogger out there, I say go with blogger, not wordpress. Unlike many authors who tell you:
  • How to make money online
  • How to earn while blogging
  • How to make a living with your passion
  • How to get a passive income regularly
I, have done all the mistakes. From focusing to much on Seo tips blogs, Backlink tricks, you name it.You can start blogging for free right now, today. Now are you going to make money? Well here is the beauty of choosing Blogger vs Wordpress: If your content won't attract people now, if websites or other bloggers don't want to link to your website, and if what you are talking about has no monetary value or product buying possibilities for an audience, then at least you learned. Also, If you lose patience after a few days or weeks, then blogging to have a passive income is just not for you. The upside of Blogger, is that you won't waste any money.

How to make money blogging
One rule in making money should always be: not to waste it. It will cost you around 10$ to register a domain name (.com), and at least 5-15$ a month to host it. Go for Blogger, its free.
